In the spirit of Scandinavian simplicity, the two Danes behind Norm Architects, Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Rønn, always strive to cut to the bone. To find the simplest possible solution without forgetting the beauty of the shape or the details – all in order to reach a point where nothing added nor subtracted will make the product better.

Norm Wall Mirror_Location_2014_03The Norm Wall Mirror is part of the popular Bath series by Norm Architects. It is as versatile as it is round. Use in the hallway, the bedroom, and the bathroom or maybe even as a decorative piece in the living room.

With the new additions to the Bath series in 2013 and 2014 we’ve slowly expanded into the hallway, the kitchen and the bedroom. So… who knows where we might go next year?”

Pepe Marble Mirror_Location_2015_02Studio Pepe wants their designs to be durable enough to last. Like, really last. They elaborate, “We like to use really great materials, which gain beauty over the years – not the opposite. We believe that such beautiful design product has to last almost forever. It’s like Dostoevskij said: ’Beauty will save the world’.” The Marble Mirror is no exception. It is solid, durable and will last year after year after year. The classic design and clean aesthetics, inspired by the style in late 50’s Italy, give the mirror a great iconic value. An object to be used and enjoyed everyday – and some day, maybe even passed on to future generations.
