We’re really pleased that the New Norm Dinnerware series has grown to be so popular and that people all around the world are enjoying their meals from our plates, bowls and glasses. The Scandinavian simplicity and purity has won hearts all over the world and this year we’re launching two new shades of lovely Nordic colors, the soft and feminine Nude – and the delicious light brown Latte.
We’ve also added several new items. New Norm Bottle comes in 4 beautiful Scandinavian colors and blends in perfectly with the rest of the series. Mix and match with the rest of the New Norm series or choose your favorite color and let it stand out from the rest of your kitchen. Use New Norm Bottle for serving juice, water, or wine. The NNDW plates have new company, with the dinner-plate sized Plate/Dish, and the adorable Low Bowls round out the selection of bowls.
The New Norm Cutlery is an exciting addition to the NNDW series. A classic, versatile and long-lasting design from Danish design duo Norm Architects. Available as Knife, Fork, Table Spoon and Teaspoon – all with a great feel. New Norm Cutlery is a part of the popular New Norm Dinnerware series. The cutlery is designed to work with all kinds of meals and will suit everything from appetizers and entrées to desserts, lunches and midnight snacks.
Every day all of the NNDW series is used at Restaurant Höst in Copenhagen. We use the restaurant as a playground and test-area to see which products are needed, which colors are preferred and where new designs could come in handy. In this way the series is constantly evolving and growing in order to cover the full needs of both a restaurant and a home household. New Norm Dinnerware expresses the purity, simplicity, and honesty so particularly characteristic of the Nordic way. The dinnerware reinterprets the well known and challenges the traditional ways of staging a meal. The diversity of colors and materials in New Norm Dinnerware sets the creativity free.
All New Norm Dinnerware products are produced with isostatic press technology to improve durability. The production takes place in a state of the art European factory, specializing in high-quality porcelain for restaurants and hotels. This gives your plates and bowls an exceptional durability.
All designs are color-glazed and burned twice at 1400 degrees for maximum strength and a special glazing process gives each item a unique soft aquarelle look – and makes sure that no two plates, bowls or cups are alike. Around 100 people are involved in the process of crafting, quality controlling, and caring for each piece of New Norm Dinnerware.
